About The Blank Table

The Blank Table is a dining platform founded by Chef Fred Keller and Alexandria Ott that has transformed the San Diego cultural experience by creating unlikely connections between strangers. The idea is to break bread as a micro-community, connect on topics you're passionate about and share ideas with advocates for positive change and economic growth throughout San Diego.


It’s incredibly important—and powerful!—to sit down at a table and take time away from the digital world while enjoying a world-class chef prepared 4-course meal with pairings by one the city's top mixologist. Add in a dash of local ingredients, stunning decor, stellar music at a secret location, and we know you will have a night you will never forget.

Fred Keller

Co-Founder + Culinary

Born in New Orleans, raised in San Diego, Chef Fred Keller has traveled the world, working at prestigious restaurants including: Martini House in Napa Valley, Harbourside Seafood in Auckland, New Zealand, and Roka Akor in Chicago. Keller currently works on a private yacht on the west coast.

Alexandria Ott

Co-Founder + Production

A nationally recognized communications expert, curator + creative director of experiences, Alexandria Ott has fifteen years of executing top-level strategic communications, progressive programming and effective marketing for designers, artists, hospitality venues, entrepreneurs and more. She is a visionary, creative strategist + storyteller based in Southern California.​ 


Katie Jayne Sprenkle


Named one of BizBash’s designers to watch, Founder + Creative Director of Jayne Events, Katie Jayne, brings her unique style + years of experience to create + coordinate hundreds of unique and over-the-top events and experiential marketing opportunities. Her passion lies in creating creative custom decor, finding + supporting new artists, and running seamless timelines.


Sean O'Connell


Sean’s 15 years in Hospitality began in the kitchen. Then, while simultaneously bartending at The Aero Club and helping run the bar at Hundred Proof, he worked part-time as a Brand Ambassador for Angel’s Envy. This led to a full-time position with Pernod Ricard. Currently, he is the Western Region Brand Ambassador for Starward Australian Whisky, in which he leads the advocacy program in the West.

Attend A Dinner

The Blank Table is designed as a secret dinner series, meaning there's a surprise element and some of the details won't be revealed until the day of the event. Once you've purchased your ticket & saved your seat, you'll receive a text at 2 PM on the day of your dinner revealing the location with a map link to your destination. Tickets are extremely limited, so we recommend you buy them right as they become available, or snag a season pass so you are able to attend all four dinners for the 2021 season.
