About The Blank Table
The Blank Table started a bi-monthly dining platform that transformed the San Diego cultural experience by creating unlikely connections between strangers. The idea is to break bread as a micro-community, connect on topics we’re passionate about and share our ideas with advocates for positive change and economic growth throughout San Diego. It’s incredibly important—and powerful!—to sit down at a table and take time away from the digital world that keeps us from making real connections.
With 2020 + COVID, we have adjusted the dinners to be for 6-10 people that are all selected by the host. Please see below on how our current set up for dinners work.
Born in New Orleans, raised in San Diego, Chef Fred Keller has traveled the world, working at prestigious restaurants including: Martini House in Napa Valley, Harbourside Seafood in Auckland, New Zealand, and Roka Akor in Chicago. Keller currently works on a private yacht on the west coast.
As Founder + CEO of Chrome City, a multi-disciplinary creative agency with offices in Chicago and San Diego, Alex has worked with hundreds of small business owners across the country, helping them to grow, thrive and take their businesses to the next level.
Katie Jayne Sprenkle
Named one of BizBash’s designers to watch, Founder + Creative Director of Jayne Events, Katie Jayne, brings her unique style + years of experience to create + coordinate hundreds of unique and over-the-top events and experiential marketing opportunities. Her passion lies in creating creative custom decor, finding + supporting new artists, and running seamless timelines.
