About The Blank Table

After two sold-out seasons, The Blank Table (TBT) is back for the 2022 season with six dinners taking place May-October. Founded by Chef Fred Keller and creative powerhouse Alexandria Ott, TBT seeks to transform San Diego’s culinary culture by igniting a sense of togetherness through cuisine, cocktails, and creativity- all around a blank table. 


With local partners like To Be Designed, guests will experience a multi-sensory evening featuring a five-course pre-fixe menu with pairings from some of San Diego’s top mixologists.  TBT is designed as a secret dinner series, with most of the details- including location and menu- revealed the day of the event via text with a link to an obscure, unknown and off-the-beaten-path location.  Committed to reinvesting in the local community and native creatives, menus feature sustainable, seasonal and complex flavors while utilizing a broad range of spirits explicitly crafted for each dish.

A nationally recognized communications expert, curator + creative director of experiences, Alexandria Ott has fifteen years of executing top-level strategic communications, progressive programming and effective marketing for designers, artists, hospitality venues, entrepreneurs and more. She is a visionary, creative strategist + storyteller based in Southern California.​ 

Born in New Orleans, raised in San Diego, Chef Fred Keller has traveled the world, working at prestigious restaurants including: Martini House in Napa Valley, Harbourside Seafood in Auckland, New Zealand, and Roka Akor in Chicago. Keller currently works on a private yacht on the west coast.

Attend A Dinner

The Blank Table is designed as a secret dinner series, meaning there's a surprise element and some of the details won't be revealed until the day of the event. Once you've purchased your ticket & saved your seat, you'll receive a text on the day of your dinner revealing the location with a map link to your destination. Tickets are extremely limited, so we recommend you buy them right as they become available, or snag a season pass so you are able to attend all six dinners for the 2022 season.
